Events dispatching process
With one of the following commands from main menu, toolbar or events context menu:
- Treat (F12),
- Accept (F11),
- Hold (F10) and
- Comment (F9)
events dispatching comment dialog is opened. All commands except "Comment" will change selected events status. With "Comment" command is possible to postedit event dispatch type and comment. It is not possible to change status when event is treated. An "On hold" event can be accepted or treated. An "In process" event can be placed on hold or treated.
Accepting an event into dispatching process
Dispatching process of an untreated event is started with "Accept" command. Event accept time and operator are automatically saved.All accepted alarm events has "In process" status and are marked with its color as on following image.
Alarm events are commonly acepted into dispatching process when is certain that until the end of treatment will pass longer period of time. For example, confirmed real alarm event can be accepted into dispatching process when intervention team was sent onto account location and can be in process until final team report from location.
Holding an event
Holding an event is usefull when for example user forgets to arm alarm panel. Event dispatching is held with "Hold" command. Thereat event operator is automatically saved with event data. All held events have "On hold" status and are marked with its color as on follwoing image:
Scheduler warning events for disarmed accounts in period of time when they should be armed may be held until user arms alarm panel. Such event server as reminder to operator to check if alarm panel is armed after user notification.
Treating an event
With "Treat" command event dispatching process is closed and event is considered as treated. Thereat event treat time and operator are automaticcaly saved with event data. All treated events have "Treated" status and are marked with its color as on following image:
All untreated, on hold and in process events may be treated. Some given events as disarming and arming depending on alarm panel communication protocol are automatically treated and are not requiring any operator action.
